About Us

Established in 1965, the New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association is a leading non-governmental organisation specialising in mental health. We aim to make a positive difference by advocating for equal opportunities for persons in mental recovery, enhancing their quality of life and moving towards an inclusive society through direct services, social enterprises, mental health promotion and prevention, social innovation projects and family support services. We currently operate more than 80 service units/projects and over 20 social enterprises. We serve around 23,700 persons in mental recovery and their families, as well as provide mental health education to 108,300 general public annually. We are committed to provide people-focused, recovery-oriented services and evidence-based community mental health services that respect our service users and value their strengths, self-management, empowerment, mutual support, as well as human rights. We also strive for raising the awareness on well-being and acceptance of persons in mental recovery in the community through mental health promotion and prevention.
We move forward from recovery-oriented service to promote well-being for all. We integrate 330 (body, mind and spirit) into daily life. In future, we will continue to uphold to our core value of "Care for People, Excel for Quality" for providing excellence and professionalism.

Remark

  1. Social Welfare Department Public Subscription Permit No.: FD/T023/2025
  2. Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and share the same flag bag.
  3. The Association will contact registered volunteers within 7 working days.
  4. The Association will purchase accident insurance for all Flag Day volunteers.
  5. Volunteers must return the flag bag to the designated collection point within the specified time. If the flag bag is not returned on time, the Association will report the case to the police according to regulations.
  6. Approval has been granted by the Director of Social Welfare for New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association to hold Flag Day across Hong Kong on 10 January 2026 (Saturday).
  7. New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of Flag Day. If false information is provided, personal details are misrepresented, participation is substituted, or dishonest conduct occurs during the event, the Association reserves all rights.
  8. Your personal data will only be used for issuing donation receipts and certificates, fundraising purposes, and sharing information about the Association. If you do not wish to receive information from New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association, please contact us.
  9. The Association will notify you by email regarding the assigned flag-selling district and arrangements for collecting materials.
  10. In case of any disputes, New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association reserves the final decision and interpretation rights.
